Decorative trim such as twisted cord, pom poms and fringe can be added to complement your canvas or coordinate with other elements in the room. Trim must be supplied by the customer. It must be one continuous piece and have a lip or flange that allows it to be sewn into the seams. Please be sure to discuss with your needlepoint finisher prior to purchasing any trim.
Self Welt - Your canvas is truly the star. This is our most popular edge treatment. A trim is custom created using the same fabric as the back, or a different fabric for a bit of contrast. This creates a crisp professional finish that keeps the eye focused on your needlepoint design.
Your canvas is inset into a fabric frame. Edge is finished with self welt trim. This style extends the surface area of the pillow creating less distortion of your image while providing a crisp modern edge. The focus remains on your needlework.
Knife edge pillows - Your needlework goes all the way to the edge and there is no added trim.
A fabric frame surrounds your canvas. It is a great way to showcase a smaller canvas and turn it into a more substantial piece. Since there is more surface area there less distortion from stuffing.
Your pillow is made into a box shape so there are no "dog ear" corners. It can be made with or without a fabric frame (inset). Edges are finished with welting
